pack the box (with five dozen of my liquor jugs) (2013)

line-up: flute (also piccolo), trombone, grand piano, playback

The title of the piece is a pangram, meaning it contains every possible letter of the alphabet. so does the composition, musically speaking – there is everything packed inside the piece. this resulting density is not just realized through the aspect of time, but also from the spatial aspect, since the electronic is played back via speakers inside the piano, and flute and trombone as well are playing their sound into the piano – an overfilled box.
